For those who are in need of healing through meditation and prayer in a supportive group setting that is Jewishly-oriented. Participants will learn and practice simple chants, blessings and prayers to support their personal healing process. There will be time for group sharing around what each person is dealing with, and for comments or questions on how the different Jewish spiritual technologies being offered are landing.
Format: Between one to three, ninety-minute sessions, in-person or on Zoom

For adults who are caregiving for a relative or close loved one of any age who is ill or disabled, either in the same household, or remotely. This group will be a place to feel seen, heard and validated. We include segments on Telling Our Stories; Navigating the Medical World; End of Life Concerns, Self-Care for the Caregiver; Finding Pleasure in Life. This support groups offer a number of benefits, including: Lessening the feelings of isolation and alienation, Providing the opportunity to share and talk with others with similar experiences, providing a safe place to freely express feelings and learning from people who have been down the same path, giving a reality check for expectations and an opportunity to share resources.

We at AriYael have developed an architecture specific to this loss to help participants more deeply engage and honor their grief. We provide a safe and compassionate environment in which to process grief, whether the loss is recent or not. Some of the specific topics include: Sharing Our Stories; Adjusting to being an Adult Orphan; Changing Family Constellations; Grieving as Healing, Tools on the Grieving Path; Jewish Grief Structures – Turning Memory into Blessing; Exploring the Stuck Places in Your Grief; Who Are Your Allies in this Grief?
