Dear Friends,

The Jewish year 5785 was one of the most difficult many of us have ever experienced in our lives. The need for healing for our world and in our lives has never been greater. So, in the midst of this chaos, we here at AriYael feel privileged to be refining and deepening our work.

In the past year we have engaged in a lot of soul searching and have, with the help of our friends and colleagues, recalibrated our focus. We have come to realize that we need to shift our model from straight program development for individuals and groups to more training of doulas, facilitators and leaders in order to spread the knowledge and expertise that we’ve gained.

We invite you to read our renewed Mission and Vision statements and check out some of our newest offerings. We will soon announce some exciting regional and national initiatives that we are delighted to be collaborating on and developing. If what we are doing resonates with your highest values we invite you to consider supporting this work – extend this compassionate caring and healing – by making a contribution to AriYael.

In my own updated bio I have included one of my favorite quotes from my teacher and mentor, Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalom of blessed memory, who echoed some of the great spiritual masters of our rich tradition when he said,

“There are only two moments in life – sacred moments and moments waiting to be made sacred.”

This is the kind of consciousness that our world is desperately in need of at this moment of human history.

We bless all of you and your loved ones with a Shanah Tovah – a healthy and deeply meaningful New Year filled with endless moments of sacred experience and life’s greatest gift – powerful and enduring love!
