Every wedding should be a unique expression of the couple’s very personal understanding of what getting married means to them. Our approach to officiation involves a process in which the couple is invited to encounter the wisdom and depth that the Jewish wedding tradition offers.

How We Work

We begin working with the couple six months before their wedding. We discuss the origin, background and evolution of the Jewish wedding traditions and invite the couple to discern which of these moments might be meaningful to them. The couple is also asked what they might like to add to the traditional wedding that would honor their deepest convictions about committed relationship. We discuss who among their family and friends they would like to honor with meaningful roles in the ceremony. We work with the couple to help them craft the wedding of their dreams and ensure that the logistics of the ceremony elegantly support their vision.

Our Jewish wedding ceremony embraces Jewish couples from all backgrounds, interfaith couples, same sex couples, and often includes non-traditional approaches to Jewish wedding. We travel to wherever the couple decides to marry and offer unique pre-ceremony and post ceremony options that enhance the sacred dimension of Jewish wedding.
