Tisha b’Av Grief Ritual

A communal grief ritual for the holiday of Tisha b’Av in Occidental, CA.
With Rabbi Zelig Golden, Rachel Ruach-Golden, Rabbi Dan Goldblatt and Zoë Goldblatt
A reimagined observance of Tisha b’Av, the Jewish day of mourning. We will gather outdoors around a sacred fire to mourn through prayer, song and sharing of sacred memories. We give voice to the ancestors to bring them honor and offer them and us healing. The night will include a recitation of Eicha, the Book of Lamentations.
